Nortons Business Advisors was established in 1998 by a merger of Yeo and Dean, James Yeo & Associates and Norton Knight Macphillamy. What began as three small firms has now grown into one of the largest accounting service providers in the Mudgee region. Nortons Business Advisors consists of 3 accounting partners supported by a team of professional accountants, bookkeepers and administrative support staff.

Geoff completed his Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree, through Charles Sturt University in 1990, and was admitted as a Chartered Accountant in 1992. Geoff commenced his career working in public practice in Sydney in 1987 and moved to Mudgee in 1990. Geoff owns & operates a farming business, which includes cattle and cropping. Lindy completed her Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree, through Charles Sturt University in 1991, and then went on to successfully become a CPA in 1993. Lindy has worked in public practices since 1980, including 10 years at Nortons prior to becoming a partner. Matt graduated from the University of Western Sydney in 1984 with a degree in Bachelor of Business (Accounting & Law), admitted as a Chartered Accountant in 1985. Financial planning originally began as an extra service within Nortons Business Advisors. Louise Scifleet has built this service into a company, which was established in 2005 as Nortons Financial Services Pty Limited and now includes a financial planning assistant and two support specialists as part of her team. Louise is a director of this company along with Matt, Geoff & Lindy.

Louise completed her Advanced Diploma - Financial Services (Financial Planning) in 2010 and her Diploma of Financial Planning in 2003, through Deakin University, and is an associate member of FPA. Louise has over 25 years of experience in the provision of financial advice and 11 years experience in the provision of financial planning advice.
