Nortons Business Advisors are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team.
Nortons Business Advisors, located in Mudgee, NSW, is one of Australia’s leading regional accounting firms. Founded in 1998, Nortons provides a range of tax and advisory services to businesses in Mudgee, NSW and beyond. Nortons has a diverse range of clients across a broad number of industries, including manufacturing, winemaking, primary production, retail, hospitality and professional services.

Reporting to the directors, this is a unique opportunity for a talented individual, looking to make a positive impact in a highly regarded local rural business. As a key member of Nortons’ management team, you will be responsible for managing, mentoring andtraining staff, while also developing and maintaining client relationships. You will also be responsible for driving and reflecting Nortons’ core values:

The successful candidate will have some of the below experience and qualities:
● A keen interest in partnering with our clients and further developing your relationship
management skills.
● A tertiary qualification (qualifications in Business, Accounting, Commerce or Economics is essential).
● Public practice experience in advisory, accounting and tax.
● Have completed or in the process of completing CPA or CA qualifications.
● Technology skills and a demonstrated ability to learn various systems.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
● Well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
