Started at Nortons: I actually started at what was then Jim Yeo & Associates in February 1991, which was one of the businesses that eventually amalgamated to form Nortons Business Advisors. So you could say I’ve been here since the beginning.
Career background & qualifications: I have a CPA & Bachelor of Business from CSU Bathurst, and started working in public practice in 1986. Prior to that, I was managing a computer bureau (olden days!!) in an accounting firm in Armidale.
What was your first job? PA to the Marketing Manager of Waugh & Josephson (Caterpillar dealers) in Alexandria, Sydney.
What do you love about working at Nortons? That’s an easy one – the best team ever! No matter what life throws up, they’re always there for me, along with the exceptional clients we work with. There’s no doubt about it, it’s the people that matter most.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Gardening, golf, jigsaw puzzles, and building Lego with my grandchildren.
What’s your favourite thing about Mudgee? I love that it’s such a welcoming & dynamic community. Mudgee residents, both short & long term, are passionate about caring for and supporting our beautiful town and region.
